Sub-Saharan Africa

Charlotte Obidairo

Charlotte is co-founder of CSI+ and Regional Director for Sub-saharan Africa. She has provided leadership to several hundred projects predominantly in Africa and has designed business re-engineering and market positioning strategies for a large number of public and private organizations working in new and emerging economies. She has a keen sense for logical partnerships and draws on an extensive network of equally passionate people in public and private sectors throughout the world.

A lawyer of training she is creatively applying private sector rigor to public sector challenges and infusing government strategies and policies into the design of private sector investments.

Prior to joining CSI+ she was Vice President at BroadReach Healthcare – a McKinsey off spring. Her career also includes the position as Director of External Relations at Family Health International (FHI), one of the largest US Government implementing agencies, and the World Health Organization (WHO) where she worked in a variety positions of increasing responsibility with emphasis on enhancing investments into health programmes and developing innovative financing strategies to address global health challenges. Prior to her tenure at the WHO, Charlotte served as legal counsel with a law firm and with the Royal Danish Ministry of Commerce in Denmark.

Charlotte holds an MBA from Johns Hopkins University in the USA, and a JD (LLB) from the Universities of Aarhus, Denmark and Poitiers, France.

Middle East and Asia

Ms Alessandra Bonezzi is our Regional Advisor for Middle East and Asia. An international gender and social development expert with a passion for womens and gender issues in the development context. She specializes in training, facilitation, negotiation and stakeholder consultations at national and international level. She excels in effective communication techniques, intercultural communication; approaches to diversity; overcoming conflicts through non-violent communication, motivational development and management of human resources in the workplace, coaching techniques as well as feminine leadership and empowerment of women. Alessandra has worked for a number of international and multinational organizations as well as local and community based initiatives where has ensured gender inclusion in all programmatic activities.

Her early career includes a variety of export management positions of increasing responsibility and she has travelled and worked extensively throughout emerging economies honing her project management, planning and reporting skills. She is a strong negotiator and masters the techniques of effective verbal and non-verbal intercultural communication in multiple languages.

Alessandra has a Master in Human Rights and Humanitarian Intervention and a BA in Cultural Anthropology from the University of Bologna, Italy.

Europe

Georgiana Braga-Orillard

Georgiana is the Regional Director for Europe. She most recently served as Advisor to the Executive Director at UNAIDS in Switzerland and excels in program management, partnership and consensus building. While at UNAIDS she also oversaw a portfolio which included 30 countries predominantly in the Americas, Africa and South-East Asia.

Georgiana has a strong combination of UN agency and private sector experience, which informs her advise and recommendations and optimize investments to meet international norms and standards and benefits from international best practices. Her comprehensive UN work experience include UNAIDS, UNODC, UNESCO and UNICEF and private sector organizations included Merrill Lynch, Starbucks, Disneyland, Manulife, Swire Group, Cathay Pacific and Levi Strauss & Company.

She is particularly appreciated for her innovative workplace programs and social investment projects that creatively has brought about change in private and public institutions throughout the developing world.

Georgiana holds a Masters in International Relations from the Institute of International Studies in Geneva, Switzerland and has a B.A. in International Relations from University of Brasilia in Brazil. She also holds a certificate in German Studies from the University of Essen and a certificate in Marketing, Business and Security Studies from Valkkeakoski Business School and University of Tampere in Finland.

International

Tove Danielsen

Tove brings more than 30 years of experience in managing small and medium size organizations. During her career, she has supported and provided solid leadership to all operational aspects of an organization ranging from recruitment, human resource retention and management, payroll, IT infrastructure, financial planning and management, internal and external communication, data management, program and project management.

Tove has held a variety of exciting positions in the public and private sector, including more than 15 years in hospital management and 5 years in legal positions in the private sector. She started her career in the auditing and banking industries and excels in budgeting, financing and auditing. She has leveraged this and other professional skills and expertise to start up a series of businesses and organizations and is an ongoing member of several civil society organizations and small business associations. More recently she has become engaged with environmental issues and forestry.

Tove holds diplomas and certificates from a variety of academic institutions in Denmark in several fields including Finance, Organizational Management, Middle Eastern studies, Law, Gender inequity and Human Rights.
