Bill Ridout, a former British diplomat, was one of the U.K. Foreign Office’s top operational managers with a track record of success in challenging environments. A crisis management specialist, he set up, trained, and led the first U.K. regional rapid deployment team, developing emergency response methodologies that have since been adopted as best practice. Mr. Ridout currently provides consulting and training services worldwide on contingency planning and crisis management.
