Lori both serves in the capacity of Regional Director and provides leadership to the Development Conservatory.

Lori specializes in communications, training, and international development. She has worked with government, international organizations and NGOs on communications, media relations, writing, policy, strategic planning, and program design and evaluation.

Prior to joining CSI+, Lori spent seven years working for USAID in communications and strategy development, first as team leader for the communications and research support team for Asia and the Near East and then as the regional communications advisor for the Middle East and North Africa. In those roles, Lori served as part of a global training team for communications officers, facilitating a range of media and communications sessions. She also managed regional media relations and media training programs, prepared senior officials for speeches and other presentations, and advised on messaging and event planning.

Prior to joining USAID, Lori developed advocacy and media materials, reports, presentations, and other outreach and analytical tools for a variety of NGOs, public policy centers, and the World Health Organization.

Lori holds a masters degree in international relations and international economics from The Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies.
