Firmenich was the recipient of the international Robert W. Campbell Award, the most prestigious international safety award any organization can achieve globally. In Haiti, their work supporting vetiver farmers advanced when they officially opened a school for over 500 children in the village of Débouchette. Also, Firmenich officially launched its Product Sustainability Index for its top 101 ingredients.
