CSI+ supports UNFPA in South Africa to explore Private Sector Engagement

CSI+ worked with UNFPA in South Africa to map out opportunities to strengthen private sector engagement on maternal health issues and beyond (including on gender, youth and HIV and AIDS).  This involved extensive research, strategic approaches as well as capacity building with staff from the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) country office in South Africa.

The strategic focus on the UNFPA’s core mandate on maternal health, which includes links to youth development themes, centres on the advancement of women and girls access to health care and other related services.  Developing inclusive and sustainable partnerships within South Africa’s vibrant private sector environment is critical for the effective achievement of these development goals.
