CSI+ supported the African Development Bank in facilitating a consultative meeting on Social Protection.

Participants included high-level experts from Africa and Europe practitioners from UN Agencies, Bilateral Aid Agencies, Regional Member Countries, in addition to relevant Bank staff. Hosted by the Bank’s Poverty Reduction and Social Protection Division of the Human Development Department, those gathered discussed key challenges to Social Protection in Africa and defined priorities for intervention, thus contributing recommendations to inform the strategic orientation and content of the Bank’s Social Protection Approach Paper.
